The Food Standards and Safety Authority of India (FSSAI) was formed by the Indian Government’s Department of Health and Family Welfare to serve as the top agency in charge of regulating and overseeing food safety. Certificate of business constitution, such as a partnership deed, certificate of incorporation proof, a license for a store or other establishment, or another certificate of business registration are also required.
List of the directors, partners, and proprietors, along with their addresses, phone numbers, and IDs are also required.
The applicant must present a certificate or safety food management system.
Applicants shall submit the name of the nominee and the board resolution to the Company.
The declaration/statement form must be submitted by applicants under the owner of the business.
Basic FSSAI Registration
For all food industry operators who meet the basic registration criteria of having a turnover of less than Rs. 12 lakhs, the FSSAI License Renewal Form A is applicable. Depending on how many years you choose, the cost of renewing your food registration might be anything from Rs 100 and Rs 500.
FSSAI State licence renewal
"FSSAI License Renewal Form B" is applicable to all food industry operators who meet the requirements for a state licence, which are a turnover of between 12 lakh and 20 crore. Depending on the sort of food business, government licence renewal costs could range from Rs 2000 to Rs 5000 for an entire year. The cost of renewing a food licence is entirely dependent on the following two factors.
FSSAI Central licence renewal
All food business operators who meet the requirements for a central licence, such as having a turnover of Rs 20 Crore or operating in numerous locations, must renew their licences using Form C, which is available online. An FSSAI Central License renewal costs 7,500 per year from the government.
