FSSAI State license

An FBOS that generates 12 lakh rupees or more in revenue annually but is not listed in schedule 1 of the FSS laws from 2011 must submit an application for a state license in order to continue operating. Similar to this, all-grain, cereal, and pulse milling machines require a fssai state registration regardless of turnover.

All food business owners who meet the state license requirements, which range from 12 lakh to 20 crore, must fill out “FSSAI Registration Form B,” also known as the FSSAI state license registration.

The owner of a food business must submit Central License Form B if annual sales exceed 20 crores.

To meet the requirements of the central license, which include having a revenue of more than 20 crore, being an importer or exporter, or having operations in multiple locations, all business owners in the food industry must register with the FSSAI.

They must also renew their Central food license before it expires. The Central FSSAI license has a variable validity period that ranges from one to five years. The cost of the license would increase based on how long it was valid. So, you can get in touch with the Legalraasta food license consultant team if you want a fssai central license.

Conclusion

The main benefit of the FSSAI License is the applicant’s ability to start without the license without having to wait for further processing if the application takes longer than 60 days to process. To protect and enhance food quality and hygienic practices, the Food Safety & Standards Act of 2006 has made significant changes. Before starting a food business, a person must comply with the Act and obtain an FSSAI Registration and License. An FSSAI license is therefore necessary for all operations involving the production, processing, storage, packaging, and distribution of food.
